Still steaming ahead

With the lockdown of the UK due to the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, a lot less physical progress has been made on the layout. Some repairs have been done but that’s about it. I don’t really want to start anything major until I can raise the baseboard on its legs.

I’ve been using SCARM to make minor tweaks to the layout and simulate small trains to see if they work. No definite changes from the one on the layout page though.

I’ve also managed to get Robert the Devil running pretty smoothly after completely disassembling the movement mechanism and putting it back together again. Not 100% sure what did it, but it’s the last of the locomotives I’ve been having problems with. Nice to see it running again!
