Lantern Festival (redux)

Since today is the official 20th anniversary of Pokémon (depending on your time zone) I wanted to draw something with a slight Pokémon theme.

I recently drew a Lantern Festival image, but I wasn’t greatly happy with it. I took this chance to spend some time redoing it it and I’m a lot lot happier with this newer version! Once again starring my Gardevoir, Mélodie, letting go of a sky lantern to mark the occasion.

I have just noticed that the lantern style is from the wrong continent; this is a Lanna-style sky lantern that are usually used in my home country of Thailand :I sorry for the huge cultural clash there!
