Belated birthday card
I drew this as a birthday card for myself, but I finished it a few days late. There were some issues with my other artworks which were far more important.
Character: Paige (a “jbrowneuk original” blah blah)
Time taken: I’m clocking in at about 8 or 9 hours of non-continuous work.
Tools used: Inkscape 0.91 “crashes A LOT” edition.
My favourite bit is: shading. Don’t know how I pulled some of it off, but it slows Inkscape to a crawl on my machine if I enable the realtime effects rendering.
The most fiddly bit was: fingers. Still really dislike ’em. Also her shadow uses an earlier shape for her shoulders and it’s obvious if you look closely... and... and...
